Favorite spots to grab a drink!

We have bars on our mind. They're gathering spots for the community conversation and important structures in societal culture. They're special corners in our home that hold memories. We wanted to share a few of our favorite spots in the city that we look forward to getting back to as soon as we can.

@Bumbo's Bar - Hamtramck

On Holbrook in Hamtramck it's the quintessential neighborhood bar you expect in Hamtramck.  Classic old school bar vibes, good drinks at good prices, and a super cute outdoor patio.  Bo's favorite drink is the Spicy Branch. Pro tip - ask for it with mezcal.

@The Skip - Downtown

Walking through the Belt in Downtown Detroit has alway been a go to. In my opinion, the city’s best old fashioned can be found just under the drunken rat monicure in The Skip (you can get them to go now too!). Right now The Skip is transitioning into its holiday season and taking pre-orders for Sippin’ Santa specialty drinks. Pro tip - Check out the entire alleyway.

@Batch Brewing Company - Corktown

Batch Brewing Company has created an amazing, comfortable, and spacious outdoor patio that is sure to be magical when the snow starts falling in the winter. It’s heated, there's a great rotating tap list, and killer food. We’ll be there soon. Nothing is better than sipping an Empire Pale Ale in the middle of Corktown. Pro tip - ask about the Pet-Nat Cider.

@Kiesling - Milwaukee Junction

Can we still call this the new bar in Milwaukee Junction?  This place is hitting on all levels.  The interior reminds me of a slightly upscale up north bar.  They have a good selection of craft cocktails, but you can also grab a Tecate for $3 if that's your jam.  Their patio isn't huge but they usually have a little fire going outside which is always a nice touch in these colder months.  Pro - tip they have a cafe open during the day that is worth the visit!

2 Way Inn - Eastside

The oldest bar in the City - haunted too. Owned by the same family since the 1800s the drinks are simple and cheap. Packed full of charm and bus loads of patrons that fill and empty the seats of the quintessential neighborhood bar. They have an extremely hospitable staff always ready to talk with you. Pro tip - Ask for some pictures to find some floating orbs.

Bronx  - Cass Corridor

Definitely a beer and a shot kinda place. It's a Cass Corridor favorite and serves up tasty food as well. Right by Wayne State - Bronx serves the whole community good vibes. Pro tip - The Black Bean burger is one of the best in the city!

@Cøllect - Eastern Market

Hands down the best craft beer bar around. Cøllect has a spectacularly curated craft beer selection on tap and packaged. You'll find yourself enjoying a beer you never would have found otherwise. Good weather days mean rooftop hangs. Pro tip - join the Cool Club.

Then there's always your home bar:

Take your at home bar up to the next level by showing off your go to liquor stash on one of our RECLAIMED BARS. Where always down to put together a custom one just for you too. Hit us up, or stop by the showroom on Saturdays to pick something nice up. - WT
