Woodward Throwbacks is a sustainable furniture and interior design studio centered around
creating with reclaimed materials that push the boundaries of traditional design. By working with
materials that have their own stories and sense of place, we aim to expand the definition of
sustainable design in the eyes of the industry as well as our clients.We believe that the most
sustainable way to design requires reimagining the objects, materials, and built environment
that is already around us. Our design approach is grounded in resourcefulness, creativity, and thinking

outside the box, whether we’re working with bulletproof glass, salvaged plywood, or old liquor store signs. We
love the texture, patina, and honest wear of materials that have lived a previous life, and believe
they bring essential culture and authenticity to any space. We are experts in using the variety
and versatility of raw materials to create innovative spaces and bespoke solutions that speak to
our clients’ unique experiences and tastes. We’re excited to collaborate with both residential

ABOUT WOODWARD THROWBACKS
Woodward Throwbacks was founded in 2014 by Kyle Shepherd and Bo Dubay as a way to give
new life to the discarded materials they saw biking around their hometown of Detroit, Michigan.
From small signs and décor made from reclaimed wood to furniture collections and home
renovations, Woodward Throwbacks have become nationally-recognized experts on
incorporating salvaged and found materials into interior design.
