Seasons Market & Cafe, Midtown Detroit
Seasons Market & Cafe opens to provide Detroit's Midtown neighborhood access to high-quality food.
Seasons Market & Cafe is described as a neighborhood good-food market located in the Cass Corridor neighborhood of Midtown Detroit. The multi-functional space is located at the corner of Alexandrine and 2nd Ave. It includes a Farmer's Stand, Every Day Market, and Cafe and features indoor and outdoor seating areas with views of the neighboring El Moore Gardens park.

Opening the market expands an ongoing exploration in sustainable urban living and design.
As with sister projects, the Green Garage and El Moore, Seasons Market is committed to creating a sustainable future for the community and the environment. In bringing Woodward Throwbacks into the project, it was important for all involved to utilize eco-friendly design practices to build the space. Many materials, including the statement lath walls, were salvaged from past El Moore renovation projects and other local buildings.

Bakery CasesWe created two vintage-inspired bakery cases using oak wainscoting saved from the El Moore Lodge renovation project. The display cases are shown below filled with locally made baked goods. Located next to the market and cafe counters, we'll definitely stop by to enjoy these often!
Detroit Hardware Company Reclaimed Cabinet
For the reclaimed cabinet, we modified a paint display unit salvaged from a former Woodward Avenue staple that closed its doors in 2018 after being in business for over 94 years, the Detroit Hardware Company. The cabinet is made of pine, oak, and poplar and includes restored antique hardware. It is currently functioning as library for patrons to enjoy in the dining loft.
